I begin my day
thinking of you,
And all the ways
you have touched my life too.
I feel it all
deep in my heart,
And I wish there was a way
to show you a small part.
Of the impact you have made
deep in my soul,
To live life in freedom
without bondage or control.
To help me to see
that I can just be me,
No matter the criticism
or opposition flowing freely.
That I get to choose
what life I live,
Each and every day
in the moment that is.
To believe in my heart
that truth will prevail,
No matter the questions
or doubts that try to derail.
For when I focus on this
there is an abundance of bliss,
In the message that matters
with no exception to miss.
