You and I
are walking together,
You and I
can feel world’s apart.
You and I
are sharing the same journey,
You and I
will have different mountains to climb.
You and I
may experience various seasons,
You and I
may see different scenery.
You and I
want the same thing,
You and I
may go about it different ways.
You and I
experience the same emotions,
You and I
may hide them from others to see.
You and I
always have a choice,
You and I
can live beyond fear.
You and I
can love on the hurting,
You and I
be a ripple effect.
You and I
can just talk this,
You and I
show that we believe it.
You and I
know how to do this,
You and I
aren’t powerless in it.
